Fake ornamental plants

Fake ornamental plants: an increasingly widespread piece of furniture

Artificial plants are able to combine beauty and practicality; if they are of high quality, they are made mostly with materials that are easy to wash, and allow anyone to have a touch of greenery in the environment without having to be skilled gardeners or growers. On the other hand, not everyone has the material time, or simply the ability, to take care of a real plant, which in many cases requires constant attention and maintenance: for this reason, the purchase of a fake ornamental plant can prove to be a effective and economically convenient solution, which solves budget, light, space and time problems in a single moment.

It is evident, in fact, that in order to survive a natural plant needs a place sufficiently exposed to sunlight, possibly well ventilated: a place that is sometimes not possible to have at home, or because the size of the apartment is small, or because the furniture is positioned in such a way as to make the care of the plants difficult. On the other hand, a real plant also involves quite high costs, not so much for watering, as for peat, soil, fertilizers, fertilizer and any fungicides and anti-parasites. All questions that should not be faced with fake plants, which consequently turn out to be a perfect decorative element, also because they are made in a very realistic way. Therefore, these are the perfect furnishing elements for those who do not want to dirty the apartment, as well as for those who want to furnish their home but have little time. Artificial plants show their usefulness for people who do not want to deal with insects and plant pests, preserving clean environments: they do not rot, do not lose leaves and do not drop soil. From this point of view, therefore, they can be fundamental even for those who do not want to give up the green but have to deal with domestic animals or small children, who running around the house would risk ruining the real plants or, even worse, of getting dirty and get hurt, for example by eating the earth. How to distinguish artificial plants

There are many different fake ornamental plants on the market: in particular, it is usual to distinguish between simple decorative plants, flowering plants and hanging plants. The simple ornamental plants include the furniture plants that can be placed in any room of the house: of variable dimensions, they give a touch of green filling the space. This is the case, for example, of scindapsus and ficus, characterized by rather large leaves of a bright green color: often they even exceed one meter in height. The smaller plants, on the other hand, are ideal as ornaments or on shelves: there are ferns or fake bonsai that perform this task in the best way, while the agave or other succulent plants are perfect for particularly modern furnishings. The fake hanging plants, on the other hand, are usually used to furnish the kitchen or the bathroom: just think of a fake ivy over the hood, or the philodendron. Finally, the fake flower plants are characterized both by the very bright colors and by the particularly refined materials with which they are made. Useful both in the office and at home, they are scenic and aesthetically pleasing: for example orchids, which can be used both indoors and on balconies, but also begonias, roses, hydrangeas and azaleas. Primroses will give a touch of elegance to a table placed at the entrance, while cyclamens and geraniums will look good on a covered balcony. Clearly, there are no universal rules in choosing plants: it is simply necessary to be guided by personal tastes, and possibly by the budget available.

Clean a fake plant: water, soap or steam

As for the care, cleaning and conservation of fake species, they are made mainly from plastic and fabric: it is from the choice of materials that the final price depends. They can be cleaned simply with water and soap, if they are made of plastic, or in any case with rather delicate detergent products that do not compromise the brilliance of the colors and the luster. Every single part must be washed with a sponge, and then dried with a cloth. In the case where the plant is made of fabric, instead, it is necessary to follow the instructions usually on the label. In the presence of silk or satin, for example, it is preferable to avoid using water, while it is advisable to use the spout of the vacuum cleaner in order to remove dirt and dust. Therefore, a specific detergent can be sprayed at a safe distance, as long as it is suitable for delicate fabrics. Alternatively, you can use a microfibre cloth, or, for very persistent dirt, even steam, placing the iron near the area that needs to be cleaned.
As can be seen, therefore, artificial ornamental plants are characterized by numerous advantages from the point of view of practicality and comfort, although they will obviously never reach the beauty of real plants.
