Question: ficus ginseng
I have a ficus ginseng bonsai for more than 1 year now it is completely stripped (it has only 3 green leaves attached) that I can do to save it? it will die I keep it in the house and it started to lose leaves with the arrival of cold. advance for response
Answer: ficus ginseng
usually a sudden loss of most of the foliage is due to an excess of watering; if the soil is always saturated with water, especially in winter when the plant is in semi-vegetative rest, the roots cannot repire and it is as if with a sofocasse plant.
Since it is an indoor plant, the suspension of watering for a few days should dry the soil. Then remember to water the plant only when the soil is almost dry, and avoid soaking it with water.
In the spring, fertilize your plant once a month.
