Question: cycas
Hi I have a mega cycas in the garden that unfortunately I have to remove because it has become unmanageable because of the size but I don't want to ruin it or risk it drying out so I would like to know when is the ideal time to remove it and replant it elsewhere. Thanks.

Answer: cycas
Dear Angela,
cycas are plants that produce a shallow root system that is not excessively developed; to transport the plants it is necessary to try to damage the roots as little as possible; can move the plant in autumn, or at the end of winter, before it begins to vegetate again, trying to remove as much earth as possible around the roots.
